Hello, I'm Aaron Holcomb, the founder of Tru Bookkeeping. Growing up in Ohio, I developed a strong appreciation for hard work and the dedication it takes to run a successful business. I moved to North Carolina to attend Greensboro College, where I earned my bachelor's degree in Accounting. With over 15 years of experience in the accounting field, I've seen firsthand the challenges that home service businesses face when it comes to managing their finances.

In 2023, I started Tru Bookkeeping because I saw a real need for affordable yet accurate bookkeeping services tailored specifically for contractors, landscapers, cleaning services, and other home-based service providers. My goal is to take the burden of bookkeeping off your shoulders so you can focus on what you do best—running your business.

But Tru Bookkeeping isn’t just my vision, it’s a true family business. My wife, Kim Holcomb, plays a key role behind the scenes. Kim is an experienced accountant with over 20 years in the field. She earned her bachelor's degree in Accounting from Guilford College and brings deep expertise and a sharp eye for detail to every client relationship. She helps keep our operations smooth, our clients cared for, and our mission rooted in integrity and service. Together, we’re building a company that values relationships just as much as results.
